Belfast Bible College
Belfast Bible College is an international and interdenominational Christian college, situated in Northern Ireland, between the cities of Belfast and Lisburn. The college was founded as the Belfast Bible School and Missionary Training Home in 1943 with one full-time student. The college community has grown significantly in recent years and now has over 160 full-time students, as well as several hundred involved in part-time study. International students from more than thirty different countries are a significant part of the college community, and make up more than one quarter of our present student body. This diversity is a crucial and unique dimension of the Belfast Bible College educational experience. Alongside academic studies we have incorporated into the timetable a range of opportunities designed to provide the conditions in which spiritual growth and maturity can occur. Our desire for our students isn’t just education its formation and transformation. That’s why practical ministry is an integral part of what we do, providing our students with opportunities to influence the live of other people in the wider community through such things as evangelism, discipleship, small group teaching, children’s and youth ministries. Students often learn as much during off-campus ministry as they do in the classroom or library.
As a college, our purpose is to create opportunities for people of all backgrounds and abilities to become better equipped to serve God with their lives. A clear commitment to God’s Word lies at the heart of everything we do, as does the conviction that His timeless truth must be allowed to transform our world.
